The devastating flash floods in northern Nepal, particularly across Rasuwa district near the Nepal–Tibet border, have left countless animals vulnerable and helpless.
The sudden surge of water, rocks and mud swept through communities, destroying homes, shelters, roads and everything in its path. Pet animals, livestock and stray animals have been injured, displaced and left without food, clean water or a safe place to survive.

The AWRF team is on the ground in Nepal, working to reach animals affected by the devastating floods.
Our team is making every possible effort to rescue, feed, provide shelter and arrange essential medical support for animals that have been injured, abandoned or displaced by the disaster.
